Digital Dashboard
Project description:
The digital dashboard project at Sun Life Financial provided a single point of interaction for all employees to check-in and ensure that the technology and financial goals in their respective departments were being met. Each employee would have access to the dynamic user interface that would enable them to look into the existing technology services at a high level or drill down further into more detailed views to conduct cost benefit analysis. The dashboard also encouraged and assisted with keeping up to date with current technology trends. This project was developed end to end with a large impact on the enterprise digital strategy.
Purpose/Objective:
The objective of the this dashboard was to assist high level executives with decision making regarding which technology services they should adopt and which they should eliminate based on financial analysis. It also allowed employees to explore new technologies and compare their services with those of their contemporaries in other Sun Life branches. In turn, it was intended to encourage employees to look for ways to improve efficiency by providing them with all the essential information at their fingertips.
